What Units 3 and 4 cover

Unit 3
- How do fields explain motion and electricity? Motion in two dimensions, and gravitational, electric and magnetic fields.
- How fields are used to generate and transmit electricity.
Unit 4
- How have creative ideas and investigation revolutionised thinking in physics? Light and matter, and special relativity.
- A student-designed practical investigation presented as a scientific poster.
Exams and SACs: Students complete SACs through the year and sit one end-of-year exam. Questions mix calculations with written explanations, often based on diagrams.
