Our Story

Hi, I’m Sim, the founder of Avin Learning Pty. Ltd. 

I hold a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from Istanbul Technical University. In 2016 I moved to Melbourne, Australia where I obtained a master’s degree in Business Administration. Ever since I was a student, tutoring has been a big part of my life. It was always one of my favourite activities and to this day I remain in touch with many of my former students. 

I’m a great believer in the power of tailored tutorials. In my first year of high school, I really struggled with physics.  However, after ongoing instruction from a tutor who understood my specific learning needs, I started to enjoy physics. Even better, I was accepted into one of the best engineering faculties in Turkey. I still remember how overjoyed I was when I first got my results!

After obtaining an MBA degree, I founded Avin Learning with the aim of spreading this joy and helping students to reach their true potential.

I carefully select my tutors, choosing those who have not only outstanding ATAR scores, but also the right attitude. Their caring and empathetic approach creates a comfortable environment which enables students to easily express themselves and success naturally follows!
